  • Pocket mode

  • Hands-free phone finding

  • Alarm and alert sounds

  • User-selectable alarm sounds

  • Flash/light alerts

2. Information We Access or Collect

Depending on how you use the App and which features are enabled, the App and its integrated third-party services may process certain information.

A. Microphone / Audio Information

The clap-to-find feature requires access to the device microphone.

When clap detection is enabled, the App may use the microphone to detect sound patterns associated with clapping.

Important: The microphone is used for the clap-detection functionality. The App does not intentionally record, save, or upload your conversations or personal audio recordings to our servers.

The App processes microphone input for the purpose of detecting a clap and triggering the phone-finding alert.

Because microphone access is considered sensitive device data by Google Play, we provide this disclosure so that users understand why microphone access is required.

B. Device and Technical Information

The App and its third-party services may automatically process technical information such as:

  • Device model

  • Android version

  • App version

  • Device identifiers or app-instance identifiers

  • Approximate country or region

This information may be used to maintain, secure, troubleshoot, improve, and analyze the App.

C. Advertising Information

The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.

AdMob may collect or process certain information, which can include device identifiers, advertising identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, app interaction information, and advertising-related information, depending on Google's services, configuration, and applicable consent requirements.

Advertising information may be used to:

  • Display advertisements

  • Measure advertising performance

  • Limit or manage advertising frequency

  • Detect invalid or fraudulent advertising activity

6. How the Microphone Is Used

The microphone is required for the App's clap-detection functionality.

When you activate clap detection, the App listens for sound through the device microphone in order to determine whether a clap-like sound has occurred.

The microphone functionality is intended solely to enable the phone-finding feature.

We do not intentionally use the microphone to:

  • Record phone calls

  • Record conversations

  • Store personal audio recordings

  • Upload conversations to our servers

  • Sell audio recordings

If you disable microphone permission, the clap-detection feature may not function.

7. Pocket Mode

The App may provide a pocket mode or similar hands-free phone-finding functionality.

When enabled, the App may use available device sensors or system information required to determine whether the device is being carried or placed in a pocket, depending on the implementation of the feature.

Sensor information is used only to provide the relevant phone-finding functionality.

We do not intentionally collect or store precise location information through the pocket-mode feature unless explicitly stated elsewhere in the App.

8. Alarm Sounds and Flash

The App allows users to select an alarm or alert sound.

Selected sounds are used locally on the device to alert the user when the phone-finding feature is triggered.

The App may also use the device's flash/light where supported and where the relevant feature is enabled.

We do not need to collect your personal information in order to play an alarm sound or activate the flash.

9. How We Use Information

Users may also have advertising and privacy controls available through their Android or Google account settings.

13. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information.

However, information may be processed or shared with third-party service providers that are necessary for the operation of the App, including advertising, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and app configuration services.

We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at:

adeelsaudia50001@gmail.com

If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in circumstances where deletion is required, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.

18. Permissions

Depending on the features enabled and the Android version of your device, the App may request permissions or access related to:

  • Microphone: Required for detecting claps when the clap-to-find feature is enabled.

  • Notification access: Where required to provide alerts or notifications.

  • Flash/light: Used to provide visual alerts where supported.

  • Device sensors: Where required for pocket-mode or related functionality.

The App only requests permissions that are necessary for its available functionality.

You can manage permissions through your Android device settings. Disabling certain permissions may prevent the corresponding App feature from working.

19. Background Operation

Some phone-finding functionality may require the App to operate in the background or remain active so that it can detect the conditions necessary to trigger an alert.

If background microphone or sensor functionality is used, the App will use it only for the phone-finding functionality described in this Privacy Policy.

Google Play requires prominent in-app disclosure and affirmative consent in situations where sensitive data access may not be reasonably expected by users, particularly for background access. Developers should therefore provide the relevant disclosure immediately before requesting the applicable permission.

20. Your Privacy Choices

You can control certain aspects of the App's data access through your Android device settings.

You may:

  • Disable microphone permission.

  • Disable notifications.

  • Disable or limit advertising personalization where Android/Google settings provide such controls.

We encourage users to periodically review this Privacy Policy to understand how the App handles information.
